How does Alexa Game Control know whether I’m issuing a command or talking to a friend?
Alexa Game Control can be configured for either push-to-talk (PTT), where you hold down a button or key to activate the microphone, or Voice Activity (VA), a game play mode that enables detection of a user’s in-game voice command based on a customer’s settings during gameplay, without using a wake word. You can choose which setting to use and change it at any time.
How do I use Alexa Game Control?
Using a headphone or microphone equipped on your PC or Xbox console, you either activate the Push-to-Talk or Voice Activity mode and say the appropriate Alexa Game Control command. There is no need to say the wake word “Alexa” before issuing your voice command.
