Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Ensure the Meta Quest is set up:
- Put on your Meta Quest headset and ensure it’s connected properly and ready to use.
2. Start Metro Awakening and reproduce the bug/issue:
- Launch Metro Awakening and navigate to the point where you can reproduce the bug/issue.
3. Start recording the video:
Press the Meta button on the right controller to open the Universal Menu.
- Select the Sharing tab (the icon that looks like a box with an arrow).
- Choose Record Video from the options. Recording will begin, and you can now reproduce the bug/issue.
4. Stop recording:
- Once the bug/issue has been captured, press the Meta button
again to bring up the Universal Menu, go to Sharing, and select Stop Recording.
5. Review the video:
- The recorded video will automatically be saved to the Media folder in your Meta Quest headset. You can review the footage to ensure the bug/issue is visible.
6. Export the video:
- To export the video, you’ll need to connect your Meta Quest to a computer:
- Use a USB-C cable to connect the Quest to your PC.
- Once connected, select Allow on the Meta Quest to allow file access.
- On your PC, navigate to the Meta Quest storage, find the Oculus/VideoShots folder, and copy the video to your computer. - Alternatively, you can share the video directly from your Quest by selecting it from the Media Gallery and choosing Share to upload it to Facebook or other platforms.
Notes:
- Make the bug/issue clear: Ensure the bug/issue is visible in the video, and provide a brief description of the bug/issue. Also, please write down the minute/second where the bug/issue is visible.
