If you are facing the error: "Epic Online Services could not be found" when launching Dead Island 2 on Steam.
We have released a hotfix on the 25th of April 2024 to address this issue.
If the issue still occurs after updating the game, we suggest verifying the game's integrity once again.
If this doesn't resolve your issue, it may be caused by the Epic Online Services not updating correctly, if you have the Epic Games Launcher installed on your PC, we recommend completely closing it, manually uninstalling the Epic Online Services, and then verifying the game integrity again, which will install the correct version of EOS.
