Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Enable Oculus Dash Recording:
- Put on your Oculus Rift headset and press the Oculus button
on the right controller to open the Oculus Dash menu.
- In the Dash, click on the Sharing tab located at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on Record Video to start capturing the gameplay or the issue you are encountering.
- Once you're done recording, click Stop Recording from the Sharing tab.
2. Access the Recording:
- Your video will be saved on your PC in the Videos > Oculus folder by default.
- Open the video and review it to ensure the bug/issue is visible.
Notes:
- Make the bug/issue clear: Ensure the bug/issue is visible in the video and provide a brief description of the bug/issue. Also, please write down the minute/second where the bug/issue is visible.
- Be mindful of file size: Please pay attention to the size of the video. If the file size of the attachment is bigger than 50MB you can compress the video using video editing software or online compression tools if the file size is too large you can upload the file to a drop box etc. If you need assistance with this, please contact our support team.
