Important Information About Render Scale
This issue occurs because the Render Resolution in SteamVR and the Resolution Scale in Metro Awakening multiply each other. If both are set too high, the combined render scale can prevent the game from working properly.
To avoid this:
- Reset both values to their defaults for a stable starting point.
- In SteamVR, the Render Resolution default is 150%, not 100%.
- In the game, the default Resolution Scale is the center of the slider.
Once reset, you can adjust both scales to find the best settings for your setup.
